Accept Team Invitation
Verify that invited users can accept the invitation and join the store team with the assigned role and permissions.
Preconditions
- An invitation email was received
- The invitation has not expired
- The invitation has not been revoked
Test Steps
Follow each step carefully
Open the invitation email
Check inbox for email with subject like "You've been invited to join..."
Email contains invitation details and join button
Check spam folder if not in inbox
Click the accept invitation link/button
"Accept Invitation" or "Join Team" button in the email
Browser opens to the platform
Create an account or log in if prompted
Registration or login form
Account is created or you are logged in
If you already have an account, use the same email as the invitation
Review and accept the role assignment
Confirmation page showing store name and your role
Role and permissions are clearly displayed
Expected Result
After accepting: (1) Confirmation that you joined the team, (2) You can access the store admin dashboard, (3) Your permissions match the assigned role, (4) You appear in the store's team member list, (5) Store owner is notified that you joined.
