Add Products to Cart
Verify that clicking products adds them to the POS cart, variant selection works correctly, and quantity adjustments update the cart.
Preconditions
- You are on the POS page
- Store has products with and without variants
Test Steps
Follow each step carefully
Click on a simple product (no variants) to add it
Click directly on a product card
Product is added to cart, cart panel updates
Verify the cart shows the added item
Check the cart panel on the right
Item appears with name, quantity (1), and price
Click the same product again
Click the product card again
Quantity increases to 2 in the cart
Some POS systems may show a quantity selector instead
Click on a product with variants (size, color, etc.)

Select the required variant options
Dropdown, buttons, or swatches for variant selection
Variant is selected, price updates if different
Confirm adding the variant to cart

Quantity updates and line total recalculates
Expected Result
Adding to cart works correctly: (1) Single click adds product or opens variant selector, (2) Repeated clicks increment quantity, (3) Variants must be selected before adding, (4) Cart displays all items with correct quantities and prices, (5) Cart total updates in real-time.
