Complete Checkout Flow (Authenticated)
Verify that logged-in customers can complete purchases with pre-filled information, saved addresses, and have orders tracked in their account history.
Preconditions
- You have a registered, verified customer account
- Store has at least one published product with stock
- Preferably have a saved address from a previous order
Test Steps
Follow each step carefully
Log in to your customer account
Login link in header, enter credentials
You are logged in; name/avatar shows in header
Add items to cart
Browse products, click "Add to Cart"
Items are in cart; cart icon shows count
Proceed to checkout
Cart icon, then "Checkout" button
Checkout page loads
Verify contact information is pre-filled from your account
Email and phone should auto-populate
Contact fields are already filled with your account info
Select a saved address or enter a new shipping address
Saved addresses shown as options, or "Add new address" option
Address is selected or entered
New addresses should be saved to your account for future orders
Select shipping method and payment method
Shipping options and payment form
Both are selected; order total is correct
Place the order
"Place Order" button
Order confirmation page appears with order number
Navigate to your order history in account settings
Account menu > "My Orders" or "Order History"
New order appears at the top of your order list
Click on the order to view full details
Order number or "View" link
Order details page shows all items, status, shipping info
