Add to Wishlist
Verify that customers can add products to their wishlist for future purchase.
Preconditions
- You are logged in to your customer account
- Store has wishlist feature enabled
Test Steps
Follow each step carefully
Navigate to a product detail page
Click on any product
Product detail page loads
Locate and click the wishlist/heart icon
Heart icon, "Add to Wishlist", or "Save" button
Icon fills or changes state to indicate saved
Navigate to your wishlist
Account menu > Wishlist or heart icon in header
Wishlist page loads
Verify the product appears in your wishlist
Look for the product you just added
Product is displayed in wishlist with name and image
Expected Result
Adding to wishlist works: (1) Wishlist/heart icon is visible on products, (2) Clicking icon adds product to wishlist, (3) Visual feedback confirms addition, (4) Product appears in wishlist page, (5) Wishlist persists across sessions.
