Apply Theme to Store
Verify that store owners can apply a new theme and have it immediately reflect on the storefront.
Preconditions
- You are logged in as store owner or admin
Test Steps
Follow each step carefully
Navigate to Theme settings
Admin > Settings > Themes
Theme selection page loads
Note your current theme for later comparison
Identify the currently active theme
You know which theme is currently applied
Select a different theme
Click on a theme card
Theme is selected
Click "Apply" or "Activate" button
"Apply Theme", "Activate", or "Use This Theme" button
Confirmation may appear; theme application begins
Confirm the theme change if prompted
Confirm dialog if shown
Theme is applied; success message appears
Visit your live storefront
Open store URL in a new tab
Storefront displays with the new theme
Verify the new theme is correctly applied
Check colors, layout, and styling
Homepage and product pages reflect the new theme design
Expected Result
Theme application works: (1) Apply button is available, (2) Theme applies successfully, (3) Success confirmation shown, (4) Storefront immediately shows new theme, (5) All pages use new theme consistently, (6) Can switch to another theme at any time.
