Update Store Settings
Verify that store owners can modify their store settings including name, description, logo, contact information, and business hours. Changes should reflect immediately on the storefront.
Preconditions
- Store exists and onboarding is complete
- You are the owner or have admin permissions
- You are logged in to the store admin dashboard

Follow each step carefully
Navigate to Store Settings in the admin dashboard
Usually in sidebar under "Settings" or gear icon, or in dropdown menu
Settings page loads with current store information
Update the store description
Text area field labeled "Description" or "About"
Text is updated in the field
This description appears on your storefront and in search results
Upload or change the store logo
Image upload area with drag-and-drop or file picker
New logo preview appears after upload
Recommended size: 512x512 pixels, PNG or JPG format, max 5MB
Update contact information (email, phone, address)
Contact section with multiple input fields
All contact fields accept your input
Set or update business hours
Time pickers for each day of the week, or quick presets
Hours are displayed correctly for each day
Click "Save" or "Update" button
Primary action button, usually at bottom or top right of form
Loading state appears, then success message
Visit your storefront to verify changes
"View Store" button or storefront URL
All changes are visible on the public storefront
Expected Result
After saving: (1) Success message confirms settings were saved, (2) Changes reflect immediately on storefront, (3) Logo appears in header and browser tab, (4) Contact info shows in footer or contact page, (5) Business hours display correctly.
