Onboarding Step 5: Shipping
Configure shipping methods for your store. Choose from preset shipping options (Standard, Express, Free Pickup, Same Day) or create custom shipping methods. This step is optional and can be skipped.
Preconditions
- Onboarding Step 4 (Payment) is complete or skipped
- You are on Step 5 of the onboarding wizard

Preset options: "Standard Delivery" (3-5 days), "Express Delivery" (1-2 days), "Free Pickup" (in-store), "Same Day Delivery". Or custom: Name, Price, Estimated days.Test Steps

Review available shipping method presets
Cards or buttons for Standard, Express, Free Pickup, Same Day options
Preset shipping options are displayed
Presets have pre-configured names, typical prices, and delivery times
(Option A) Select one or more preset shipping methods
Click to select preset cards; customize price if needed
Selected presets are highlighted
(Option B) Create a custom shipping method
"Add Custom Method" button opens a form
Custom shipping form appears
(If custom) Enter shipping method name
Text input for method name
Name is entered (e.g., "Local Delivery")
(If custom) Enter shipping price
Number input for price
Price is entered
(If custom) Enter estimated delivery time
Input for estimated days or delivery timeframe
Delivery time is specified
(Option C) Skip this step
"Skip" or "Set up later" button
Step can be skipped
Shipping methods can be configured later from store settings
Save and continue (or skip)
"Save & Continue" or "Skip" button
Step is marked as complete
Expected Result
After completion: (1) Shipping methods are saved if any were selected/created, (2) Step 5 is always marked as complete (even if skipped), (3) User advances to Step 6 (Branding), (4) Shipping settings can be updated later.
