Remove Team Member
Verify that store owners can remove team members who should no longer have access to the store. This is critical for security when employees leave or roles change.
Preconditions
- You are the store owner
- Team member to remove exists (cannot remove yourself as owner)
Test Steps
Follow each step carefully
Navigate to Team settings
Settings > Team
Team list is displayed
Find the team member to remove
Scroll or search the team list
Member is visible in the list
Click the remove or delete option
Trash icon, "Remove" button, or option in dropdown menu
Confirmation dialog appears
Confirm the removal
"Confirm" or "Remove" button in the confirmation dialog
Dialog closes and success message appears
This action is usually immediate and cannot be undone
Expected Result
After removal: (1) Success message confirms removal, (2) Member no longer appears in team list, (3) Member immediately loses access to store admin, (4) Member receives notification of removal (optional), (5) Any active sessions are invalidated.
