Edit Product
Verify that existing product information can be fully modified including all fields, variants, and images.
Preconditions
- At least one product exists in the store

Modify: name, description, price, add a new variant, change primary imageTest Steps
Follow each step carefully
Navigate to the Products list
"Products" in sidebar
Products list is displayed
Click on a product to edit it
Click the product row or edit icon
Product edit form loads with current data populated
Modify the product name
Name input field
New name appears in the field
Update the description
Description text area
New description text is entered
Update the price
Price input field
New price is entered
Add a new variant (if product has variants)
Add new option value or variant in the variants section
New variant appears in the variants table
Remove an existing variant (if safe to do so)
Delete/remove button on a variant row
Variant is removed from the list
Cannot remove variants that have pending orders
Upload a new image and set it as primary
Image upload zone, then set as primary
New image appears and is marked as primary
Delete an old image
X or trash icon on image thumbnail
Image is removed from the list
Click "Save" to apply all changes
"Save" or "Update Product" button
Success message appears
Visit the storefront to verify changes
"View on Store" link or navigate to storefront
Updated name, description, price, variants, and images are visible on product page
Expected Result
After saving: (1) All modifications are persisted, (2) Product list reflects changes, (3) Storefront shows updated details immediately, (4) Variant changes are reflected in options, (5) New primary image displays in listings.
