Payment with Flutterwave
Verify the complete payment flow using Flutterwave, including payment completion, transaction verification, and order status update.
Preconditions
- Flutterwave is configured and enabled for the store
- Products are available in the store
- Flutterwave is in test/sandbox mode

Follow each step carefully
Add items to cart on storefront
Click "Add to Cart" on any product
Items are added to cart
Proceed to checkout
Click "Checkout" button in cart
Checkout page loads with order summary
Fill in shipping/contact information
Enter name, email, phone, address
All required fields are completed
Select Flutterwave as payment method
Click on Flutterwave option in payment methods
Flutterwave is selected as payment method
Click "Pay Now" or "Complete Order"
Primary action button at bottom of checkout
Flutterwave payment modal/page appears
Enter test card details on Flutterwave
Card number, expiry, CVV fields on Flutterwave form
Card details are accepted
Use test card 5531 8866 5214 2950
Complete the test payment
Enter PIN (3310) and OTP (12345) when prompted
Payment is processed successfully
Wait for redirect/completion
Order confirmation page appears with order number
Verify order status in admin
Go to store admin > Orders
Order shows as PAID with transaction reference
Expected Result
After payment: (1) Customer sees order confirmation, (2) Transaction status is verified, (3) Order payment status is PAID, (4) Transaction reference is recorded, (5) Customer receives confirmation email.
