Payment with Paystack
Verify the complete payment flow using Paystack, including redirect to Paystack page, payment completion, webhook processing, and order status update.
Preconditions
- Paystack is configured and enabled for the store
- Products are available in the store
- Paystack is in test/sandbox mode
Test Data

Follow each step carefully
Add items to cart on storefront
Click "Add to Cart" on any product
Items are added to cart
Proceed to checkout
Click "Checkout" button in cart
Checkout page loads with order summary
Fill in shipping/contact information
Enter name, email, phone, address
All required fields are completed
Select Paystack as payment method
Click on Paystack option in payment methods
Paystack is selected as payment method
Click "Pay Now" or "Complete Order"
Primary action button at bottom of checkout
Redirected to Paystack payment page or modal appears
Enter test card details on Paystack
Card number, expiry, CVV fields on Paystack form
Card details are accepted
Use test card 4084 0841 1111 1111
Complete the test payment
Enter PIN (0000) and OTP (123456) when prompted
Payment is processed successfully
Wait for redirect back to store
Order confirmation page appears with order number
Verify order status in admin
Go to store admin > Orders
Order shows as PAID with payment reference
Expected Result
After payment: (1) Customer is redirected back to order confirmation, (2) Order number is displayed, (3) Webhook is received and processed, (4) Order payment status is PAID, (5) Payment reference is recorded, (6) Customer receives confirmation email.
