Partial Order Refund
Verify that store administrators can issue partial refunds for specific amounts, useful for partial returns or adjustments.
Preconditions
- You are logged in as store admin
- An order exists with completed payment greater than the partial refund amount
Test Data
If order total is N10,000, try refunding N3,000 as partial refund.Test Steps
Follow each step carefully
Navigate to a paid order in store admin
Order details page is open
Click the "Refund" button
Refund dialog appears
Select "Partial Refund" option
Toggle or radio button for refund type
Amount input field becomes editable
Enter the partial refund amount
Numeric input field
Amount is less than total order value
Amount cannot exceed the original payment amount
Add a reason for the partial refund
Reason dropdown or text field
Reason is provided
Process the partial refund
Refund is processed successfully
Expected Result
After partial refund: (1) Only specified amount is refunded, (2) Order shows "Partially Refunded" status, (3) Remaining amount is tracked, (4) Multiple partial refunds can be issued up to total, (5) Each refund is logged with timestamp and reason.
