View Product with Video
Verify that products with video media display correctly and videos can be played on the product detail page.
Preconditions
- At least one product has a video uploaded or linked
Test Steps
Follow each step carefully
Navigate to a product that has video media
Find a product known to have video or look for video indicator on product cards
Product detail page loads
Locate the product media gallery
Main product image area, usually on the left side of product page
Media gallery shows with thumbnails including video thumbnail
Click on the video thumbnail to select it
Video thumbnail may have a play icon overlay
Video player appears in the main media area
Play the video
Click play button on the video player
Video plays correctly with audio (if applicable)
Pause the video and switch to a product image
Click pause, then click an image thumbnail
Video pauses; image displays in main area
Expected Result
Product video works: (1) Video appears in product media gallery, (2) Video thumbnail is clearly identifiable, (3) Video plays when selected, (4) Video controls work (play/pause/volume), (5) Can switch between video and images, (6) Video does not autoplay unexpectedly.
