Verify that store commission is correctly calculated and deducted from vendor earnings when orders are placed.
Preconditions
- Store has commission rate configured (e.g., 10%)
- Vendor has products listed
- You can place a test order

Check in store admin > Settings > Vendors or Commission settings
Commission rate is known (e.g., 10%)
Place an order for a vendor product as a customer
Complete a test purchase on the storefront
Order is placed successfully
Check the order in store admin
Orders > View order details
Order shows vendor info and commission breakdown
Verify commission calculation
Commission amount in order or vendor section
Commission = Product Price × Commission Rate
For ₦10,000 at 10% = ₦1,000 commission
Check vendor earnings (log in as vendor)
Vendor dashboard > Earnings
Vendor sees net amount after commission
Expected Result
Commission is correct: (1) Store takes configured percentage, (2) Vendor receives remaining amount, (3) Both amounts are clearly shown, (4) Math is accurate, (5) Commission applies consistently across orders.
