Accept Team Invitation
Verify that invited team members can accept their invitation and gain access to the store.
Preconditions
- A team invitation has been sent to your email
- You have access to the invited email inbox
Test Steps
Follow each step carefully
Check your email inbox for the invitation
Look for email from store/platform with invitation subject
Invitation email is received
Open the invitation email
Click to open the email
Email content shows store name and invitation details
Click the "Accept Invitation" or "Join Team" link
Primary button/link in email
Browser opens to acceptance page
Create an account if you do not have one (or log in)
Registration form or login form
Account is created or logged in
Confirm the invitation acceptance
Confirm or Accept button on the page
Success message appears; redirected to store admin
Verify you now have access to the store admin
Check that store dashboard loads
Store admin is accessible with permissions based on role
Expected Result
Accepting invitation works: (1) Invitation email is received, (2) Accept link works correctly, (3) New users can register during acceptance, (4) Existing users can log in, (5) Access is granted after acceptance, (6) Permissions match assigned role.
