Feature Limit Enforcement - Products
Verify that the system correctly enforces product limits based on the subscription plan, blocking creation when limit is reached.
Preconditions
- Store has a plan with a specific product limit (e.g., 50 products)
- Current product count is near the limit

Check your current plan limits
Settings > Subscription or Usage Dashboard
Product limit and current usage are displayed
Navigate to Products and check current count
Products list shows total count
Current product count is near the limit
Add a product to reach the limit
Create a new product
Product is created successfully (limit reached)
Attempt to add another product beyond the limit
Try to create one more product
Action is blocked with limit message
Observe the limit enforcement message
Error message or upgrade prompt
Clear message explains the limit and how to upgrade
Expected Result
Limit enforcement: (1) User is blocked when attempting to exceed limit, (2) Clear message explains what limit was hit, (3) Upgrade call-to-action is presented, (4) Existing products are not affected, (5) Deleting a product should allow adding a new one.
